September 17th: Invite for Zoom Milan
जी हाँ, शनिवार 19 September, 2020 को ही आपकी हमारी FriendsofMP Picnic होना तय थी. पिकनिक की पूर्व-संध्या पर कितनी सारे काम चल रहे होते थे, यह तो गिनना ही मुश्किल है. और पिकनिक में आने की उत्सुकता - वो आप
सभी जानते हैं !!
खैर , यह साल कुछ अलग ही है. जब पूरे विश्व में रोग इतना प्रकोप दिखा रहा है,
उसमें हर बड़े- छोटे आयोजन पर प्रभाव होना ही था.
समय फिर बदलेगा, हँसी खुशी उल्लास गप्पें का माहौल फिर जल्द लौटेगा,
पोहे जलेबी की कढाई और गराडू का पाया फिर तलेगा ; ये हमारा आशा ही नही,
पूर्ण विश्वास है !!
आप सभी स्वस्थ रहें, और संपर्क बनाए रखें !
और ईस Weekend पर अपनी FMP दोस्ती के नाम पर, MP का कोई मीठा - नमकीन ज़रूर बनाए और खायें. ऐसा लगेगा मानों हम सब साथ ही हैं !!

Based on the overwhelming emotions on this FMPNYNJ Picnic Weekend, we feel it may be a good time to connect digitally and share some smiles.

Zoom and more details to follow soon. Lets make it casual fun interactive participative get- together, just like our FMP events. Great line up falling in place : With a blend of Humour, Music, Culture, Games. Thanks to all FMP volunteers who have come forward to participate and will be presenting their unique talent/ creativity.
With 60 Families already registered, looks like we should have a full house. There will be waiting room setup for admittance.
Please try out your/Spouse name in Hindi on Zoom, will be nice to see all participants names in Hindi. Just like our Picnic.
September 28th 7:30pm: Zoom Milan
We were all missing the Annual Picnic till y'day, and then we had the Zoom Milan ! With around 70 Families riveted with their Videos ON for almost 2.5 Hours,
Friends of MPNYNJ added a new chapter in its brief journey on Sun Sept 27, 2020.
As always, it was great team work behind the scenes and Volunteer performances by FMPNYNJ Members. Deepest Thanks to each and every one, and to all the participants who kept engrossed and engaged from start to finish.
Our special Thanks to Neha Rathi (Boston), Poet Abhinav Shukla (Sacremento), Ameeya Mehta and Deepak Gupta, (NJ) (www.PrayogTheater.com) and one and only Rajiv Nema Urf Arnab G (Bay Area) for their phenomenal performances and involvement.
Warm welcome to many who joined us for the first time in an FMPNYNJ Event. Also, It was great to see names in Hindi on the Zoom.
September 30th: Note of thanks
Thank you so much to Friends of MP for having our family join other families of Madhya Pradesh. The whole Zoom Milan evening was delightful! Start couldn’t have been better with Neha mesmerizing all of us with her melodious voice . The poems by so many poets were curated to perfection, and the lineup of skits was second to none. It was difficult to keep ourselves away from the computer . Jokes, shayari, games , plays ( that jugalabandi), really left nothing out of menu. Renu really made us go trance with gainda phool .
In my craziest dream we wouldn’t have imagined interacting with Abhinav Shukla and listen to shuddh Hindi Kavita. We hit the ball out of the park when Arnab Goswami zoomed into our faces with his earth shattering voice . I asked Sonal to pinch me - was Rajeev Nema really talking to us.
Setup of zoom interaction was professional class. I am sure games were a blast, and folks will remember them for a very long time. We are still talking about how much fun we had and think that we need to get together more often. All the team put so much efforts - and our everybody who made the event worth casting in our memories forever.....
