What an unforgettable event the Holiday Gala, Diwali, Holi and Sports Day turned out to be, brimming with joy and excitement. The day was packed with an array of vibrant activities that brought people together, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a splash of competitive spirit. From the colorful decorations to the delicious array of food, everything added to the festive atmosphere. Special thanks to the dedicated volunteers who poured their hearts into making this celebration possible, and to all the enthusiastic participants who made it truly remarkable. Friends of MP - NY NJ is an informal coming together of residents of NY Tristate area, who share their heritage/affection with Madhya Pradesh (MP). The idea came into being after the “Friends of MP Conclave” in Jan – Feb 2015 organized by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in New York. As an initial bonding activity, the group has started with organizing an Annual Picnic after Labor Day in the NY Tristate area. The first such picnic was on 20th September, 2015; which was a grand success and turned out to be memorable for all the families who attended and made it happen.

Evening started with introductions , Christmas tree decoration contest, followed by vocal and dance performance of kids. We did polling , saw some more brilliant dance and gymnastic performance of kids . Our beloved CM Shivraj ji sent a special video message to encourage us and to thank for the work FMP-NY NJ chapter is doing.
First picnic - 2015
First Friends of MP - NY NJ Annual Family Picnic in New Jersey on Sun 20th Sept, 2015. The whole day Picnic was a grand success, with participation from people of all parts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and with origins in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Khandwa, Dewas and other towns of MP. Right next to Statue to Liberty at the waterfront added to the fun filled atmosphere.
